This is my first proper post on here, even though it's been up and running for ages now. it's kinda lay dormant for a while, pretty much like the band. jayne and burnsy have both moved on to other (far less interesting) pastures, leaving the less popular but much cooler members to sift thru the rubble. to tide us over as we do this, we've been playing some of our more acoustic numbers with bacon on guitar and harriet on keyboards. you'll be able to see the fruits of our labours at our gig next Friday 22nd May at the Round (near the Cluny apparently, no me neither) as part of Evolution Unsigned. The Week that Was are headlining the whole thing so that shoud be good. In the grander scheme of things, me and Ben are currently recording a new single that'll be released via this blog in the near future. So watch this space...

Irrelevant Grime Rant/Envelopes
Bah! Just remembered that I missed top Grime MC Skepta play at Stereo on Saturday because of our gig at the Bridge. That means I've now managed to miss Wiley, Trim (a no-show in the end-typical!), Dizzee Rascal and now Skepta play in Newcastle this year alone. Thats practically the entire Grime scene!
I understand few of you reading this will neither know about, or care about Grime music, but I reckon more of you pasty-faced Indie kids should give it a listen. It'll do you good! In fact, to start you off (or more likely, put you off), I'm posting this old video footage of Dizzee Rascal, quite literally as it turns out, battlin' Crazy Titch. (Crazy Titch is now in jail for murder). Scary stuff...
Note to the rest of the band: I promise never to mention Grime on this blog ever again. I should really be writing an essay for uni (deadline tomorrow) but I got bored so I wrote this. Please feel free to post your own irrelevant drivel. We did say we'd be posting 'assorted ramblings' on here didn't we? Burnsy! Fee! You're bound to be able to come up with some interesting/inane shit to spice this blog up a bit. And come to think of it, why isn't Jayne on here yet? Howay Big Janis!
##########################################################
On a more relevant topic, I'm really looking forward to our gig supporting Envelopes at the Cumberland in May (See the lovely poster below) . Just borrowed their album off Jayne the other day, and I'm impressed. Should be a great night.
Here's a really good video of their song 'Freejazz' for you:
Definitely not to be missed...

'Disappearing footsteps'...has reappeared!
I inexplicably left out this track when I upped 'You can see the joins' earlier, so here it is for you now. Its meant to slot nicely in between 'Lonely bones' and 'Curse my name' in the running order.
Click HERE to download (for free of course)
We're in the final stages of recording and mixing our second album at the mo, but I'll probably throw up a couple of old songs that we didn't get round to finishing for our last album in the coming weeks. They feel like they need a home. Watch this space...
